For instance, Pushpa 2, which was released in theaters on December 5, 2024, was available for streaming on Netflix by January 30, 2025 (56 days later). Similarly, Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, hit Prime Video for rental on September 27, 2024, after its August 15 theatrical release, followed by free streaming for subscribers on October 10.

With a production budget of approximately ₹130 crore, Chhaava is already making waves at the box office. The film opened with an impressive ₹31 crore, marking it as Vicky Kaushal’s biggest opener to date and the largest Bollywood opener of 2025 so far. According to Sacnilk, the movie crossed ₹65 crore within two days and is poised to hit the ₹100 crore mark by the end of its opening weekend.
